Vendors will be on hand with their wares. Many are Ozarks craft vendors. Others offer food and kid entertainment. Kids and parents will enjoy the inflated play areas too! And the FFA's petting zoo. Plan to enter your float in the parade, or watch it from a vantage point. Your day won't be complete without a visit to Rocky Ridge Farm and Laura Ingalls Wilder's farm house. ![]() |

Drawings for Lawn/Yard Equipment will be held during the Kickin' Up Grass Competition. View the Lawn/Yard Equipment There will be races and competitions for kids at Wilder Days. The boys and girls are challenged to compete in a contest for a look-a-like for Laura as a girl of the prairie and Almanzo Wilder, the featured character in Farmer Boy. SPECIAL PLACES Friday, September 17, 2010 10:00 AM Begin assigning booths for Vendors 12:00 pm Registration for all Friday Events begins at Chamber Information Booth on the Town Square 1:00 pm till 8:00 pm Mansfield Historical Society Museum opens 5:00 pm Horseshoe Tournament Begins 6:00 pm - - - - - -Entertainment by Mansfield School Children (early evening) 6:30 pm - - - Mini-Parade Begins. Ages 12 years and under. Bicycles, Skateboards, Roller Blades, Wagons, Walking, but no motorized entries. Entries will be judged on Costume, Follow the Theme, Float and Performance. No official bedraces are scheduled on Friday. Saturday Afternoon Matinee -- Ozark Mountain Players 3:00 pm and 8:00 pm at the Pavilion/Amphitheater in the Mansfield City Park. (Admission fee)
Saturday Evening -- Mansfield Saddle Club Event - 7:00 pm Junior Bull Ride Rodeo event sanctioned by the Missouri Junior Bullriders' Association. More Details to be Announced
Saturday - After the Parade Sho-Me Your Wheels Mechanical Show at the Town Square Register your Exhibits Prizes awarded to exhibitors by random drawing throughout the day. Variety of musical performances throughout the day. Featuring local bands and regional music. Plan to enjoy the music all afternoon and into the evening. REMEMBER to BRING YOUR LAWN CHAIRS Over when its over!
